Van Duzer Vineyards just released their 2023 Estate Pinot Noir, and it’s a special one—it marks 25 vintages for the Oregon winery, which has made a name for itself by letting the wind and the land dictate what ends up in your glass.

As we approach the holidays, here’s why you want this bottle on your table:

The Wine: Oregon Personality in Every Sip

What I noticed first were the fresh notes of red cherry and strawberry, which reminded me of the Dundee Hills fruit I’ve loved from other Oregon Pinots. As the wine opened, subtle savory and floral notes, along with smoky black tea and blood orange citrus, really spoke to the Van Duzer Corridor’s influence on these grapes. This is a wine carefully balanced between brightness and complexity.

Another Single Vineyard Wine

2022 Van Duzer Bieze Vineyard – big notes of blueberry, black cherry, weaving in with savory notes of olives, black tea, clove and dark chocolate along with forest floor and coffee.

Why It’s Special

Wines like this invite you to slow down and pay attention to both the flavors in the glass and the journey it took to get here. Van Duzer’s 25 years in the Van Duzer Corridor have shaped wines that are layered, balanced, and genuinely Oregon.
